According to the source, this guide has only been tested on a Euro WWE 32GB 3G Flyer, but it may work on other configurations as well. I started a new thread about this because its a very different method than the one use in this thread and I didnt want the methods to be confused. This method is safer imo as it does not require flashing sbf files.

This method was originally used to root the Droid2

First off let me say that I was wrong about this issue. Its not an issue with Easy root it is just something built into android. So I apologize to anyone I argued this subject with but specifically Patch. Its also not an issue with rom manager.

This applys to users that after flashing a custom recovery they can boot into it once but the next time you try to boot into recovery it has reverted to stock.

9/9/2010 I strongly suggest using the method linked above instead of the one in this thread. In a few days I will no longer have a Droid which will make supporting this thread much more difficult.

Kemaren saya dapet job eh bukan job nding tapi minta pertolongan, dia minta Downgrade OS ( Operating SYSTEM ) yang tadinya Windows VISTA ke Windows XP. Terang saja HP compaq CQ40 harus di downgrade BIOS terlebih dahulu agar sound-nya bisa jalan di Windows xp, Nagh, ini dia masalahnya, setelah saya downgrade tuh BIOS_nya ternyata Notebook HP CQ40-337TU nya tewas crying alias gak bisa Booting ( inikah dia yang disebut gagal downgrade BIOs ?

Computer engineer here. Registered so I could post this and hopefully help a few of you guys out 

I was running into the same problem, with Win7 x64, RSD Lite 4.6, latest drivers. Did some investigation into the error log and looks like I found a bug in their programming. Go into the directory you installed RSD Lite (for Win7 x64 the default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Motorola\RSD Lite\) and look for a file that starts with "FlashErrorLog". Open it, and if you see something like this:
